My first Weimaraner was purchased in 1976 and since then I have taken part in most canine activities. I am a Life Member of the Weimaraner Club of SA, worked on the board of directors of the South Australian Canine Association for 5 years. I am qualified to judge Gundogs (Sporting) and Terriers at championship show level and I am currently training for Group 7 (Non-Sporting) and Group 4 (Hounds) . I have judged Specialty shows throughout Australia and New Zealand including Weimaraner Club of NSW Specialty, Weimaraner Club of QLD, Weimaraner Club of Vic,  South Island of NZ Weimaraner Club Specialty, NZ Gundog Club, ACT Gundog Specialty, Tasmanian Gundog Specialty, NSW Gundog Society Specialty, Palmeston Gundog (NT) Specialty, WA Gundog Specialty and many other groups at All Breeds shows.
I am a qualified obedience trainer and have competed at every level in both obedience and tracking. I am married to Ken and we have 6 children between us...a real live 'Brady Bunch'.

In early 2009 we imported our  Golden Retriever "Bree" from New Zealand.  A Huge Thanks to Bianca of Riverstone Goldens in NZ for all her friendship and support and sending us a stunning girl who is now the youngest NZ Bred Golden to obtain a Aust Championship title.

CLAIRE

CLAIRE RICHTER

I am Disability support worker and enjoy spending time with my partner Mark Newbery and being a mother to my gorgeous twin boys, Connor and Ashton and my youngest son Marley born sept 2016 and daughter Mila born Nov 2017.  All my life I have been involved with showing dogs. Even as a very young child, Mum tells me I would spend all of my time 'training' the dogs. I enjoyed much success as a Junior Handler, winning Runner Up in the state final and many other competitions. 'Rumour' - was bought for me in lieu of a horse and I had a lot of fun campaigning her to her Grand Championship. In 1999, we took possession of 'Tinsel' our Eurasier and we had a very successful time in the show ring. Apart from showing, my other interests include my family, being a soccer mum/ partner and of course spending time with the dogs. Mum and I have had many enjoyable and successful trips interstate to compete at major specialties and Royal shows. I also have had the honour of judging the Victorian Handlers finals in 2004.
